Some clever dickens has created a website called "If It Was My Home", where you can input your location and find out what the BP Oil Disaster in the Gulf would look like if it covered your home.

In my case, it obliterates Sydney and stretches North to Forster - a 3.5 hour drive - and South almost to Canberra!!

Heartbreaking, and devastating. It's getting worse by the day - it started gushing over two months ago, and still there's no solution. How suuuper depressing...
