chatterbox
WARNING: Super boring, super indulgent blog post alert. This is only going to be interesting to a handful of people, if that. We recently moved and Lila's little baby book got packed away in the process; every month I try to record her latest milestones and I feel a little bit lost without having a "place" to note down her new talents. So, to celebrate her 17th month I decided to put them on my blog.
Well, not all of them - just her vocabulary :) She's a little chatterbox now and I wanted to work out how many words she's actually got, so without further adieu...
- Mama
- Dadda/daddy
- Ta
- Hi
- Hello
- Bye
- Nana
- Poppa
- Oma
- Pa
- Puppies
- Dancing (said with an adorable lisp)
- Yum yum
- Bump (when she wants to fist bump)
- Yucky
- Ball
- Weeee (when she's being thrown in the air!)
- Yay
- Pitty (pretty)
- Ya-ya (Lila)
- Fish
- Chee (tree)
- Tent chee (thank you)
- Uh-oh
- Oh no
- Wow
- Tick-tock (clocks and watches)
- Moe (mole - while also freckles, pimples, mossie bites, scars... all moles, in Lila's eyes)
- Oop-a-daisy
- No (my least favourite!)
- Okay
- Ca-ca (cracker)
- Shoes
- Backpack (whenever she sees Dora)
- Wee-wee
- Poo-poo
- Nana (banana)
- Abby (mum's dog)
- Rerry (for Reddy, our dog)
- Gay (for Dre, our other dog - she screams it, loudly, whenever she sees him. "Gay! Gaaaaayyyyy!"

Welcome!
Hi! I'm Sarah. I am a 30-year-old writer, mum, traveller, animal-lover, quasi-vegetarian, lip gloss fiend, movie buff and property addict living in Sydney, Australia. I love the smell of newly-printed magazines and books, a cup of tea and a treat at the end of the day, and packing for holidays.. the anticipation is half the fun! Thanks for visiting :)
