I'm sad today. Chris O'Brien, a cancer surgeon from RPA, died last night of brain cancer. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was at his bedside, I read. He seemed like such a caring, compassionate and positive person, and I feel so bad for his family and his patients. He's going to be honoured with a state funeral. Chris' passing, as well as the bizarre Air France tragedy, has made this a really sad week :(
